Mr. Kato, known to be one of the most influential start up consultants in Japan, is the Chairman of YKBK Enterprise Private Limited.With 55 start up companies under his excellent leadership in various fields, he is a well known businessman and a hardcore taskmaster. It was Mr. Rohit Bakshi’s interest in the sport of basketball and business that brought Mr. Kato to India in 2017 and since then there has been no looking back. Known to be a visionary, Mr. Kato is committed on building a rock-solid and long-term relationship between the Japanese and Indian companies. With 3BL, he aims to acquaint the youth of India with the endless opportunities in the sport of Basketball.

Mr. Rohit Bakshi, born and raised in Japan, is an entrepreneur and is the CEO of YKBK Enterprise Private Limited. He has been the driving force behind the idea of 3BL. His unmatched love for the sport of basketball, took him to various continents and exposed him to various enthusiasts across the globe. Being a professional basketball player till 2016, it was during his visit to India in the year 2009, where he witnessed India’s amazing basketball talent. The extreme potential, poor opportunities and impressive skill-set determined him to establish a professional setup in the country that could foster elite competition and lay down a professional career path for the aspiring youth.

Who We Are

3BL, 3×3 Pro Basketball League Indian Sub-continent, is an intellectual property of YKBK Enterprise Pvt Ltd. It has 6 Women’s teams and 12 Men’s teams competing in the professional circuit. 3BL is the only exclusive provider for an opportunity to compete at FIBA 3×3’s international circuit such as Challengers and World Tours from the Indian Sub-continent directly which is a dream of every 3×3 baller.

What We Do

YKBK Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. is a company where we put our heart in the planning and mind in the execution. Along with various businesses we are also operational in the field of sports where we have successfully acquired exclusive rights by FIBA (International Basketball Federation) to host 3×3 professional basketball leagues in the Indian Sub-continent, which includes six countries i.e. India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives and Bhutan. We also own the exclusive rights to host a 3×3 professional basketball league in the Kingdom of Thailand located in South East Asia.

One successful Japanese businessman Mr. Yoshiya Kato and a passionate sports person Mr. Rohit Bakshi came together in 2017 and founded YKBK Enterprise Pvt. Ltd. with a super powerful workforce. YKBK has a clear vision to grow and promote 3×3 culture and it’s potential throughout the Indian Sub-continent and South East Asia by organizing a Professional Circuit, Grassroots Programs and build multiple indoor 3×3 basketball facilities for the betterment of existing and up-coming players.

FIBA (International Basketball Federation)

3×3 Basketball is the fastest and shortest format of Basketball in the world. All you need is one hoop, a half-court and six players. Games can be staged outdoor and indoor in iconic locations to bring basketball directly to the people. It’s a 10-minute game. Highest score in 10 minutes or first team to score 21 points wins. 3×3 is not only FIBA’s second official discipline but will be played at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the Commonwealth Games – Birmingham 2022.

Basketball Federation of India (BFI)

The Basketball Federation of India or BFI is the governing and controlling body of basketball in India, and is responsible for the development and promotion of the sport at all levels. BFI has been involved in conducting camps, clinics, events, and training sessions at its academies for the development of basketball. BFI came into being in 1935 and took complete control over Indian basketball in 1950. Prior to that time, the Indian Olympic Association handled the conduct of Indian basketball championships. Since 1950, the BFI has been conducting various such championships, from the grassroots to senior team participation in international tournaments. In addition, the BFI has been responsible for the establishment of strong sub-junior and junior level programs. The BFI has to its credit produced several international players of repute, among them 19 have been bestowed with the honour of Arjuna Awards, and two have been conferred the Padma Shri.
